Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works Co.,Ltd(SPIW) which has a history of over seventy years, was reformed from Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works in 2003,and it is one of the key enterprises in China Insulator Industry,Now its two new plants with a total investment of $25 million,were completed and in full operation in October of 2006 in SIP(Suzhou-Singapore Industrial Park) and SND (Suzhou New District)

SPIW has been awarded as an enterprise with convincing quality of export commodity and innovative technology in Jiangshu Province,and has passed the audit of ISO9001:2000 Quality System by DNV(Det Norske veritas).And it has obtained Recommended Company Certificate of main equipment (materials) for 330kV-500kV transmission lines,and has bee n qualified by National Power Gird Company to participate the centralized biddings of 330 kV over transmissioon line projects.
